Sarah Canaday
Sarah received her law degree from Marquette University in 2008. During her first year at Marquette, she worked full-time at a large law firm in Milwaukee and attended school part-time in the evening program. She switched over to the full-time law program during her second year at Marquette.
Sarah’s studies during law school focused on family law and mediation. She participated in a mediation clinic at the Milwaukee County Courthouse, which involved mediating small claims cases. She also served as an intern under a family court judge in Milwaukee.
Sarah moved to North Carolina just before her last semester of law school. She finished her legal education at Wake Forest University.
Prior to law school, Sarah worked hard at developing her business and communication skills. During her undergraduate studies, Sarah worked with Alzheimer’s patients at a neighborhood site in Orlando. Upon finishing her undergraduate education, she moved to Wisconsin and worked as a supervisor in the Accounts Payable department of a family-owned company.
